Practical. Direct. Evidence-informed.

The practical aim is: to connect people, behaviours and systems so insight becomes action that strengthens relationships, collective performance and the environments in which people work.

His work draws on current research from systemic coaching, psychology, behaviour change and neuroscience, backed by his qualifications and combined with practical experience in elite performance environments.

Brent is a former teacher, that now lectures on programmes in coaching, leadership, performance and behavior change.

He has more than 23 years’ experience in high-performance sport, education and leadership development, and has coached in competitions including Super Rugby, the Gallagher Premiership, the Champions Cup, the Europe Rugby and the Currie Cup, and has contributed to advisory work supporting Olympic and Paralympic preparation.

Through his work, lessons shared are relatable, brought to life through powerful storytelling and a style of support that draws people into the conversation. Complex performance challenges are met with simplified interventions that are useful.

Experience That Shaped the Work

More than two decades across elite sporting competitions, education, business and leadership development have shaped the way Brent works today — navigating high-pressure environments, rebuild projects, teams dealing with change, systemic leadership impact and the challenge of creating progress when resources, time or certainty are limited. CONSISTENT AIM

The work is shaped around the context, but the aim stays consistent: helping people and organisations move from fragmented effort to highly connected, collective performance that holds under pressure and lasts.

Level Change wasn’t built in a boardroom. It was shaped by years of rebuilding teams with limited resources — and discovering that resourcefulness matters more than resources.
Whether the work is with an individual, leadership group, team or wider organisation, the aim is the same: to create the conditions and develop capacity for people and performance to thrive.
